Did you know: The Holy Sanctuary was constructed for $10.1 million. In 2023, we secured a ten-year loan with a five-year fixed interest rate of 5.58% and a five-year adjustable rate on a $5 million loan, resulting in a monthly mortgage payment of approximately $28,896. Since July 2023, we have reduced our mortgage to $4.1 million, and we have also received over $1 million in gifts for the beautification of the Sanctuary! We have also allocated over $100,000 to support IOCC, OCMC, Hellenic College, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, monastic communities both locally and internationally, as well as mission work in Kenya, Project Mexico, and Puerto Rico; this amount does not include the philanthropy of our Philoptochos Society. As we receive funds for our building fund, we will continue to pay down the principal in increments of $100,000, with the bank recalculating our monthly debt service payment accordingly. For more information on how to pay down our principal or to donate toward the beautification of the Sanctuary, please speak with Fr. Christopher.
