Rev. Fr. Demetrius Dogias

Reverend Fr. Demetrius Dogias, although not assigned to our community, is a blessed addition to our Parish family who often assists with Divine Services.  Enjoying a much-deserved retirement after having served the Church faithfully for nearly 50 years as a Priest, we offer our continued prayers and thanks for his ministry.  Appropriately, the first phase of our construction, “Founder’s Hall”, is dedicated to Fr. Demetrius and his wife, Presbytera Eleftheria, who were instrumental in the establishment of our parish, the first Orthodox Church in Placer County. 

Father Demetrius resides in Sacramento with his wife, Elle.
